Over the last 18 months, 15% of all UK employees have been transferred into new roles, promoted or received an increase in their current grade for taking on additional responsibilities. In Asia, the average training per employee in 2002 was 44 hours and in the US we have broadened each employee's area of responsibility and increased multi-tasking. This has provided Lucite International with a very diverse and multi-skilled workforce, which can quickly and easily adapt to and address the ever changing challenges faced by the business as it continues to grow.
